Joey is here!!!!!

I have neglected this blog....with the bringing home of joey, spending time with my new little family, going back to work, picking up around the house and the sleepless nights, I should apologize.....

Joseph Thomas Michael Renzetti IV was born on February 3, 2011 at 10:32pm. He was 20.5 inches and weighed 7.5lbs.

We are so blessed and are so thankful!!

I will add my birth story soon but have also started a new blog which I will include if anyone is interested :)

These will be our last ones until we get to meet Joey in a couple weeks. We're trying to be patient but we can't wait!!! :)

15 days and counting..

And my little Joey will be here..unless he decides to be apart of our world earlier.

It's been a while since I've written so I apologize now. I've been slacking on the weekly pictures too..I know I'll regret that one later too. Lately I've been busy with work and we finally had our last shower on Joseph's side this past weekend..got a lot of good stuff. We've gone to our childbirth class and breastfeeding classes as well. Now we're just waiting for things to start happening!!

Had my weekly dr appointment this past Tuesday, went in and had high blood pressure, some swelling and the dr said I looked exhausted. Ordered me on bedrest for the next 48 hrs, had me do a 24 hr urine test to test me for pre-eclampsyia and ordered me on my way. Called into work for 2 days and did absolutely nothing except peeing into a jug..YUCK!

Saw my dr again yesterday and feeling 100 times better she checked my labs and everything came back negative. THANK the LORD! I've been told to cut back my 10 hr days of work to 6-8 so that's what I'm doing now. Just trying to take it easy! Easier said than done though..that's for sure!

31 Weeks

How far along? 31 weeks
Weight gain/loss: I've gained about 16lbs
Maternity clothes? yes that's all I'm able to wear anymore.
Stretch marks? None!
Sleep? Well I had to invest in another wedge pillow to support my back too while I sleep on my left side. As the nights are passing I'm losing more and more sleep :(
Best moment this week? Having the U/S today and seeing that he has HAIR!!
Food cravings: Tacos!!!!
Gender: BOY :)
Belly button in or out? Outtie
Movement? He is SO active all the time!!
What I miss? I miss feeling comfortable in my own skin.
What I'm looking forward to: Finally meeting him.
Milestones: Was hooked up to a stress test and he moved soo much and his heartbeat was STRONG :) Very cool!

30 Weeks!!! Can't believe it!!! :)

How far along? 30 weeks ....never thought I would get there!!! :)
Weight gain/loss: I've gained about 13lbs so far.
Maternity clothes? yes that's all I'm able to wear anymore.
Stretch marks? None!
Sleep? Luckily I'm able to sleep through the night. I know I'll be missing my sleep soon!
Best moment this week? Poking my stomach and watching him squirm Lol
Food cravings: Tacos!!!! And Seasoned Fries!
Gender: BOY :)
Belly button in or out? Been an outtie for quite some time now.
Movement? The movement isn't just in the evenings and early mornings anymore. It's most of the time now. I LOVE feeling every movement!
What I miss? Wine..and my body not aching.
What I'm looking forward to: Meeting Joey!!
Milestones: Reaching 30 weeks..it's pretty unreal..I've got 10 weeks left..it's just crazy!

29 Weeks

How far along? 29 weeks
Weight gain/loss: I've gained about 13lbs so far. Not too bad!
Maternity clothes? yes that's all I'm able to wear anymore.
Stretch marks? None!
Sleep? When I switch sides it wakes me up. But I've been able to sleep throughout the night mostly which is good.
Best moment this week? Just feeling him move around all the time! LOVE IT!
Food cravings: Just my seasoned fries and when I get in the mood for something I have to have it.
Gender: It's a little boy :)
Belly button in or out? Outtie for sure!
Movement? It's a lot of the time now. I love it!
What I miss? my back not hurting and my feet not killing me
What I'm looking forward to: Our next U/S in December
Milestones: Being in my 3rd trimester and feeling pretty great!

Shower

Well we had our first shower that my mom and sister threw for us. It was this past weekend and it was a BLAST! We are SOOO BLESSED!!! It was held at a hotel near my parents home and it was a fall theme. Everyone that helped out and contributed food was also so appreciated!! I've got some pics to upload..There are so many so I'll only do a few favorites.

We got all our big items from our registry and were given tons of toys and clothes, diapers and wipes. It was a lot of fun!! Again..we are SOO BLESSED!!!

I'll upload all the pics to a sharing site once I get everyones prints. Thanks again to everyone who helped and was there to celebrate with us!!! We love each and everyone of you so very much!!
